OpenERP Announce Latest Upgrade Version 6.0 is the first upgrade in nearly 2 years and boasts over 100 new features including updates to many core modules. OpenERP provides key business applications including Sales, CRM, Project management, Warehouse management, Manufacturing, Financial management and Human Resources. All of these can be adapted easily to the individual business due to its modular structure. There are other benefits for SMEs when using OpenERP, including its flexibility, affordability and its no vendor lock in.OpenERP was founded by CEO Fabien Pinckaers in 2005 who believed Open Source provided a better way to meet customers' expectations. In the last 6 years its popularity has vastly increased and now is used in over 37 countries. Due to the ever increasing movement towards Open Source products this seems sure to grow. Currently there are more than 150 partners worldwide, including OpusVL, who are 1 of only 5 partners in UK.
