Google Launch the Android App Inventor.

Designed to allow anyone to build their own apps, the Android based system allows even non programmers to see what they can create. Although simple to use the technology behind it is very powerful. By using "blocks"  of coding that are available on the website, users can build and visually design their own apps for Android phones, social media and even GPS. There are many tutorials to help users get started and the App Inventor can be used across most platforms and browsers.
