Skobbler Sat Nav on the iPhone

Skobbler, an open source sat nav programme is now available for the i Phone. Named after its German creator, it has become the most downloaded application of its kind in Germany in the last 6 months. Skobbler  provides turn-by-turn navigation maps sourced from OpenStreetMap, which is used and maintained by people all over the world.

Skobbler also supports iPod music playback while it's running, and can automatically return to navigation duties after a phone call. Being Open Source it is free to download.
